Individual Therapy

General Psychologist

• Therapy session with a general psychologist (9am - 4pm): $205
• Therapy session with a general psychologist (5pm onwards): $210

If you have a mental health care plan written by a GP, you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $101.55 for each session with a general psychologist, for up to 10 sessions per year.

Clinical Psychologist

• Therapy session with a clinical psychologist (9am - 4pm): $255
• Therapy session with a clinical psychologist (5pm onwards): $260

If you have a mental health care plan written by a GP, you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $149.05 for each session with a clinical psychologist, for up to 10 sessions per year.

Provisional Psychologist

• Therapy session with a provisional psychologist (9am - 4pm): $90
• Therapy session with a provisional psychologist (5pm onwards): $95

There are no Medicare rebates for sessions with a provisional psychologist.

• ADHD assessment: $900
• Autism assessment: $2000
• Cognitive or educational assessment only: $1,100
• Combined cognitive and educational assessment: $2000
• Combined ADHD and autism assessment: $2,500
• Combined autism and cognitive assessment: $2,650
• Combined cognitive, educational, and ADHD assessment: $2,450

Mini Assessments

• MiniAutism (assessing for Autism only): $1,200
• MiniAuDHD (assessing for Autism and ADHD): $1,700

Provisional Psychology Assessments

Reduced fees with a provisional psychologist may be offered based on availability. For pricing on other types of assessments, please contact us to discuss your needs. 

NDIS Assessments

Please note, assessments under NDIS may incur different fee structures. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

Depending on your needs, we offer sessions for 50 minutes and 80 minutes.

General Psychologist:

• 50 minute session (9am - 4pm): $210
• 50 minute session (5pm onwards): $215
• 80 minute session (9am - 4pm): $290
• 80 minute session (5pm onwards): $295

Clinical Psychologist:

• 50 minute session (9am - 4pm): $265
• 50 minute session (5pm onwards): $270
• 80 minute session (9am - 4pm): $335
• 80 minute session (5pm onwards): $340

There are no Medicare rebates for couples therapy.

The Shire Psychology provides services to clients under plan-managed and self-managed NDIS plans. The fee per session with a general or clinical psychologist is $252.99, and the fee per session with a provisional psychologist is $156.16.

All services provided are billable inlcuding:

• Liaison with schools and teachers
• Letters to employers and universities
• Legal letters 
• Additional reports outside of assessment fee structures
• Parent sessions

The additional fees incurred will be in line with the clinician's typical hourly rate per session. This can be discussed further with our administration staff.
