We provide individual, couples and group services.

The Shire Psychology provides a range of assessments, including:

• Cognitive assessments (IQ tests, strengths and weaknesses)
• Educational assessments
• Comprehensive cognitive assessments (IQ, memory and executive functioning)
• Specific learning disorder assessments
• Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) assessments
• Autism assessments
• Intellectual disability (ID) assessments
• Vocational assessments

The Shire Psychology also provides MiniAutism and MiniAuDHD assessment services. These assessments identify the presence of Autism and/or ADHD, however the reports are much shorter than our comprehensive Autism and ADHD assessments listed above, and therefore would not be suited to applying for further funding. 

If you are looking for an assessment purely to investigate a potential diagnosis or to better understand your identity, this may be a good option for you! If you are unsure, you may always book in a session with one of our psychologists to discuss the different assessment options available.
